These are enormous victories for American businesses and American consumers! We will finally be able to sell large numbers of American cars and trucks i Japan.

Indonesian tariffs on US goods will be set at 0%, opening up a massive new market.

Well done, Mr. President.

Another promise kept.

This isn’t getting the press it deserves.

How exactly can the Japanese government order private businesses to invest 550 bllion at Orange Man's personal discretion?

Explain this shit like I'm the kind of idiot who just took a vaccine for a free cheesburger, please.

So far as the tariff goes, if we look at previous World Bank data....

It looks like a tax increase on Americans at well over 600% for imported goods.

Cars being the main import, that tariff is less than the imported steel for American companies to buy for manufacturing their own.

So...not really good for American car manufacturers.

Do you MAGAS even economics?

How am I taxed is I don’t buy a car? Will you Marxists stop saying tariffs are a tax?

As I said, and correctly so, American consumers of Japanese stuff are looking at well over a 600% tax increase on all Japanese imports in comparison to previous data. Previously they were getting hit with a 2% consumer tax on average.

I'll let you slide on the ''Marxist'' but since you're new and have no idea who you're talking to, winger. Heh heh...

It is not a tax when you don’t buy the car.

Buy American. Avoid the tariffs.

How does 25% down to 15% turn into 600%?

Methinks you spent math class looking out the window at birds.

It was previously 2% on average.

As I referenced...

So...over 600...as I said. And correctly so.

Technically, it's around a 650 percent tax increase when comparing the previous data.

Do better...

That's on the percentage, if anything. the actual value increase is far less. It's just using a big number as a scare tactic.

And it's a deal between the countries, so we probably gave them some things back.

But keep pretending this is a bad thing, hack-****.

You're clearly not qualified for this sort of discussion. Respectfully speaking...

You were not supposed to notice that.
