President Trump: Making America Normal Again

Hopefully, these newly elected democrats will see the light of day and not vote totally lock step and put the welfare of the country before party.
We can hope. Newt Gingrich and his majority of reformer Republicans aided and abetted by Tim Penny leading some 30 odd reformer Democrats in the House were a powerful force to effect positive change. Bill Clinton resisted as much as he dared but they kept coming at him with the legislation. He finally signed the legislation for tax and welfare reform that allowed them to give us the closest thing to a balanced budget any of us had ever seen.

True public servants in government instead of all professional politicians can make a huge difference.

The criminal case against him will be dropped.

Ok
That's a lot of unjustified hope that you have there.
Not entirely unjustified hope I think. It is possible that most elected Democrats are mostly deep state operatives like Adam Schiff and some others who will try to continue the lawfare and try to scuttle meaningful reform. But it is also possible at least some got the message that a substantial majority of American people reject what they had been selling. And it is just possible that their constituents might apply some pressure for them to support meaningful and necessary reform to restore a government that reflects the basic values of Americans than do not include a lot of what the Democrats were selling and actually are making things much better.

And if we have a sufficiently chagrined MSM (I refuse to call it 'legacy media' because that sound far more noble than what it deserves) that actually starts reporting the situation honestly again, I am pretty sure a HUGE majority of Americans will get behind Trump and the reformers and they will be able to effectively turn it all around. See Post #42.

So I hope too.

Pam Bondi is an excellent choice to replace Matt Gaetz as the A.G. nominee and is receiving high praise from Republicans and even a few Democrats. Good job Mr. new President.

The Cabinet is shaping up nicely.

I understand President Trump's confidence in Stephen Miller who has been unwavering in supporting Trump policies. But Miller is so unfuzzy and unwarm in his public persona, I sure hope he doesn't let Miller write his inaugural address again. The last one was so un-Trumplike I think it didn't set the right tone. I want a speech that maybe is a little more focused than a lot of his extemporaneous comments but that sound like him.

But the picks so far are looking good for the most part.

Yeah and thoughts like this one ^^ will not do anything to Make America Great Again--the country has to unite hence the first word of the title of our nation.

That first word doesn't mean what you seem to think that it means.

That first word doesn't mean what you seem to think that it means.
Why don't you investigate the word. Apparently you have no idea. Attitude like you are showing is no different than the brain-dead democrat attitude that we just overwhelmingly rejected.

The States agreed to form a more perfect union -

The states, not the people.

I have allowed my instincts to inform me of the wisdom of each appointment as Trump has made them. Some I have felt really excited about. Some I had to think about. Pete Hegseth for DOD chief for instance I didn't even have a clue was coming, but after thinking about it and checking his credentials, I feel pretty good about it. Tulsi Gabbard as DNI I also feel good about. (I am glad she isn't in a department in which her more leftist views could be counter productive to the MAGA agenda.) And others also feel right for their proposed jobs.

I was a bit surprised that Marco Rubio got the nod for State but I certainly don't dislike him and trust Trump's judgment on that one. And there is no chance DeSantis won't appoint another really good guy or gal to finish out Rubio's term in the Senate.

The only one my initial reaction was 'oh no' was Matt Gaetz for A.G. I have been waiting for that initial reaction to temper itself and feel more acceptance but in all honesty it has not yet happened. I don't really dislike him personally but not actually fond of him either. And what I have observed from time to time is that I disagree with his perspective and judgment at times.

And this morning I am seeing a number of prominent Republicans in the Senate who also are not happy with that appointment. It may be the one appointment they'll refuse to confirm.

So help me out here ya'll. What am I missing? Good appointment? Bad appointment? Does anyone else see those little red flags of caution here?

(Again DeSantis will almost certainly appoint a good person to replace him.)
Matt Gaetz is out to clean things up BAMN. I think he's a lot better than what you may know.
I've heard him speak and the ideas he's proposing and they are great.
That investigation was BS. The Senate doesn't want him cleaning things up.
They might get stuck with him as a peer for the rest of Rubio's term. :abgg2q.jpg:
