I see there is another thread objecting to teaching 6 year olds the same crap. A 3 year old can only understand so much. This is something he or she cannot grasp and are prime for manipulation. It has to stop.

No, they aren't. Math is racist, writing isn't required, and our graduates can't read. They are taught pronouns, genitalia, and how to make protest signs.

There are many variables involved here, for example we pay teachers crap wages yet at the same time insist on high standards of teaching.

Math and reading/writing skills have declined around most of the highly developed countries, there are multiple reasons for that like cell phone availability, decline in good quality educational TV and so on. Society itself is a huge factor in what and how kids learn. We glorify violence, sex and crime - particularly in US cinema.
