As I have explained in a prior post, if our society is plunged into a apocalyptic survival mode, there will be 3 groups of humans left after the initial mass die-off: the Elite rich (well guarded and fed); then there will be the peppers; and finally, there will be the marauders. Groups 2 and 3 do not really engage Group 1 because of risk. However, the marauders WILL attack Group 1 when the opportunity arises. I have chosen to become a marauder when the time comes. Marauders will hunt and prey upon the preppers and the resources they so helpfully collected for us before the End Times.
I have decided to prepare for my Marauding endeavors in order to be successful. First, I need peeps. Marauding is something that requires a team. Without a doubt, southern rednecks fit this bill perfectly! Fortunately, I happen to know a lot of rednecks. I even have a few in my family.
Second, I need lots of guns. We will need high-capacity blasters and a shit-ton of ammo. I am going with AK-47s and Glock 17s. While these are not my favorite pieces to shoot at the range, they are reliable and ammo is plentiful. I will arm my soldiers with these weapons, while I prefer to keep my Python and DD AR10 rifle.
Third, we will need women. I have my eye on a few already. The way I see it, when the apocalypse hits, 90% of the population will be dead in a couple of months due to lack of resources, lack of medical attention, suicide, and just plain incompetence. I figure by snagging some babes, I am saving their lives and giving them a purpose.
Fourth, I will need restraints and bullwhips. I am planning on taking some of the preppers I maraud as slaves. There will always be work to do in the apocalypse. Why risk serious injury and certain death when you can just make the slaves do the work?
Fifth, I will need a home base, for storing the stuff I take on marauding adventures, and a place for the babes to sleep and bathe, as well as for supplies. In fact, I plan on stashing several caches of guns and ammo in the general range of my operations. Eventually, I will conquer an entire territory and erect a huge monument to myself as Supreme Leader. But that discussion is for another time. I have some places staked out and a plan of operation.
Sixth, I need pharmaceuticals like antibiotics, anti-virals, steroids, and other drugs and medical devices. These will be held on hand at the base of operations (with the guns, ammo, and cooter). It would not hurt to have some sort of
