Nothing is more anathema to the DC swamp than telling them they have to watch what they spend. Nothing is more infuriating to them than having to account responsibly for tax payer money. The ongoing temper tantrums only serve to highlight the ones who stand to lose. And if they stand to lose .. exactly what is it that they all losing?
I have yet to hear one cogent argument from those opposing DOGE except a new version of Orange man bad..... Elon man bad....
The idea that private information will become vulnerable is such a laugh as to be utterly ludicrous. There is no private information anymore. Doubt what I say? Try not paying your federal taxes and you'll find out just how much the government already knows about you.
Already those trying to organize resistance seem to be running into a problem. This particular issue is not that easy to sell even to left wingers. Like it or not saving money from wasteful spending makes sense to an awful lot of people regardless of what their political affiliation is. There is a small group who are diehard set against it and that would be those who have something to hide.
Wait till their constituency discovers that they have been robbed by their own political heroes.
This portends to be a very bad year for the swamp creatures.
I have no doubt there will be demonstrations this year.... But they won't have the same energy as the George Floyd riots..... These will be pretty easy to spot as paid demonstrators who don't even believe in the purpose they are demonstrating for.
