Tremendous idea on the part of President Trump.

Reconnecting America's youth to Almighty God can only help.

I went to Catholic school and we prayed every day.

No shootings, and a scholastic record better than the government school system.

.

I am also a Catholic, and I have attended several events that made me so proud of our youngsters, who pray richly and fervently.

I am lucky enough to have several personal friends who teach religious education, and the children who come out of their classes inspire me so deeply, as a Christian.

I feel it a great privilege to attend Mass with the children of our parish.

It is obvious that the youth are returning to the church.

Praise God!

What about you mind your own business -- President Trump is not talking about Canada.

It all just gets more hopeless if you're left on your own to sort out the problems. And now there is great peril approaching if the political right see Charlie as the beginning of pollitical assassinations, tir for tat!

There's still an opportunity to bring Americans together again agaiint communism, the common enemy of the people and the gov regime. Don't waste it!

But what about freedom for atheists, Islamics, and other religions?
Your three picks of religions fail to marry up with America's Constitution & B.O. R.

The right is rarely unhinged in that way.

At least you acknowledge that it was an assassination.

All religions must be free to pray and no adults can lead the prayers.

I'm not actively involved in any religion and it's rituals. But ai believe that devoutly religious people should have the freedom to stop and pray once in awhile if that's what they want to do. We have several Muslims who work in our establishment. A few times a day they take just 5 minutes to go pray and then they come right back to work. It is never used to avoid details or be lazy. What's incredibly funny to me is that we have a devoutly Christian woman who is deeply jealous of them and says she should be allowed to have every Sunday off for church because those dang Muslims get to pray for 5 minutes. She always points the finger at them and yet none of them ever asks for a whole day off for worship except maybe if it was a major Islamic holiday. She's a self serving ***** and about as truly Christian as a snake.

That's easy. Don't want to pray? Then don't pray. Want to pray, then pray.
There is no reason why one's rights should disappear because another has a different view.
Freedom from religion's lies. How would you like it if science lied to you?

Science doesn't lie. Scientists lie, mostly by omission or by hiding their findings so deep in their publications that even God would have a hard time ferreting it out. And the result for mankind has been a disaster. :omg:

what was their definition?
In 1802 Thomas Jefferson wrote a letter to the Danbury, Connecticut Baptist Convention in which he presented his views on the relationship between religion and the role of the state in the new nation. Basing his views on the establishment clause of the First Amendment which said that there should be “no law respecting the establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,” Jefferson stated that there must be a “wall of separation” that clearly limited the involvement of religious denominations and religious leaders in matters related to national governance.

It established that religious leaders could not set national policy with the government
