Disappointed over the lack of back bone on this board
I was in a foul mood this morning on account of being summoned up to Aldershot by the site manager to discuss mistakes they alleged my lads had made, but once I got there it was obvious no mistakes had been made. Anyway, the youngsters are all up there and I spent all day showing them how to set-out masonry corners. It's such a joy to oversee the little'uns. So full of life, wonder and curiousity. Hard workers, too, even if they do make mistakes. They're really coming out of themselves, too. In the canteen the older trowels were all putting them on the spot: asking if they had girlfriends, hair on their balls, etc. One of them piped-up by saying: "I'm not a boy I'm a bricklayer, wanker", which triggered laughter among the lads.
Not yet, son, but you're getting there.
How old are these "kids"?

Between sixteen and eighteen. I know they aren't kids, but in contrast to the weathered faces of full money men, they're fresh-faced kids.

I can relate to teens and young adults, but the younger ones (2-9) .... ugh.....
I had one sitting behind me at a hockey game last night - he kicked the back of my chair ALL NIGHT NON STOP
talked and screamed non stop. Seems like anytime I am around kids they are like this... drives me nuts
