A vest would be over-doing it a bit. Don't wear the vest. A simple suit and a nice tie does the trick in most settings. You want to look nice, but you don't want to over-do it.
i wasnt gunna....now Nanas got me all flucked upp....they said "business to business casual," implying a range for others but i have to look sharpest.
I understand. Without requesting dress for formal settings, a vest is not necessarily required. If it's only a face-to-face business meeting, a suit with a nice tie is the norm. Remember, you wont be graded on whether you wear a vest or not. Your personality, friendliness, and professionalism is what scores the points. Greet everyone with a smile and firm handshake, then let your friendly personality take over from there. If you're comfortable, and make others feel comfortable in your company, you've hit the mark.
