Post Your Mood Today With Pics!

Fear is my mood, basically, or fear of the unknown.

Had a CT Scan for what they thought was a
hernia. That turned out to be Diverticulitis, which has since been fixed with a deluge of antibiotics.

During that same CT Scan, however, they discovered a mass on my left kidney. I was told yesterday by my urologist that I was likely to have half or maybe all of the kidney removed.

No times or dates yet for the actual surgery, but positive thoughts or prayers would be
greatly appreciated.

P.S. I guess I should be thankful for having the unbearable pain from the Diverticulitis.

:)
You will beast through all of that. Trust your docs, and dont miss any appointments.

Thanks, G.T.

I'll do my level best.
You are one of the nicest, kindest, most generous spirited people on this board. I know you must have a good and strong spirit. Everyone here is pulling for you; you have a lot of friends here. I think you'll get past the worst of this trial. Find strength and support in your friends here and do everything the doctors say. I think the Diverticulitis will heal and who needs two kidneys anyway? It's a trial. Be strong and positive.

May the sun bring you new energy by day,
may the moon softly restore you by night,
may the rain wash away your worries,
may the breeze blow new strength into your being,
may you walk gently through the world and
know it's beauty all the days of your life.

Bless you, Esmeralda, if I could only give you a big old hug. Thank you.

do what the docs say.....and power on that is all you can do.....hoping for the best outcome....

You, along with my sister, are my beacon of hope.

well that is just sad honey just sad......first trust your doctor...next get a 2nd opinion before you let them take anything out...

i hate that good news/bad news shit....good news your tummie troubles are solved....bad news you got a kidney issue....

and mo, if it is cancer......you will join the club no one wants to be in and you will deal with it....slowly but surely you will deal with it....i hope that is not the road the fates have chosen for you..you will not walk the road along....as esmeralda said.....you have friends and support...

My connection keeps dropping, and my sister should be waking up soon, so I'll sign off now.

Thank you, everyone, for a very uplifting morning!

I don't mean to minimize things but I have a friend who has lived a very nice life with only one kidney. Over thirty years. May not be the same problem but she's been in great shape. You are strong, you have a good, positive, attitude, You will win here.
