Zone1 Post evidence of the Great Flood here

Prehistoric history for me is the most fascinating.

It was all that trying to dig these massive stones out of the ground
that killed all these civilizations off. :smoke:

You should look up and give a careful read on the life of a timid,
sickly little Floridian man who once lived long ago
by the name of Edward Leedskalnin.

Evidence no longer supports such notions as civilizations rising about 6000 years ago. We now know they are far more ancient. Evidence no longer supports the thought that human intelligence and ability are linear on an upward trend.

In fact, just the opposite. We have come to discover that ancient civilizations in the pre-historic era, were capable of things we cannot duplicate today such as massive stones quarried and moved to build massive monuments that were long ago destroyed. We now know that many of the temples of the gods, for example, were built upon such massive foundations that mankind discovered later on. They probably assumed that only gods could have erected such massive structures and built their temples on them as a dedication to them, but not knowing anything about them.

The fact of the matter is, evidence points to a prehistoric civilization that was thriving and had technologic abilities they simply should not have had, and suddenly disappeared, taking much of their knowledge with them.

And as we know, earth has experienced a myriad of cataclysms, and many written about in ancient stories such as the Great Deluge. So, it is not a matter of glibly brushing off all of this myth, rather, it is about understanding the reality behind it all.

Where did these advanced and lost civilization go without a trace or any record or any passed down knowledge?

The only logical answer is cataclysm.

My evidence is

I could be wrong about this but Helen Wambach Ph. D. limited her research to merely four millennia in the past, probably due to the fact that if she had ran into a Great Flood among a high percentage of her volunteers, she would have offended the only group of people who enjoyed her research and would buy her books?

DR. HELEN WAMBACH AND REINCARNATION

Dr. Helen Wambach (Ph.D.) was one of the earliest scientific researchers into past lives and reincaration. She was the author of Reliving Past Lives and Life Before Life (both published in 1978 by Bantam paperback books). The updated Reliving Past Lives: The Evidence Under Hypnosis was published in 1984. Mass Dreams of the Future was published by Chet Snow in 1993 after her death was based on her research.

Initially motivated by a desire to debunk reincarnation, beginning in the mid-1960s, Helen Wambach conducted a 10-year survey of past-life recalls under hypnosis among 1,088 subjects. She asked very specific questions about the time periods in which people lived and the clothing, footwear, utensils, money, housing, etc. which they used or came in contact with. Wambach concluded found peoples' recollections to be amazingly accurate and wrote that ''fantasy and genetic memory could not account for the patterns that emerged in the results. With the exception of 11 subjects, all descriptions of clothing, footwear, and utensils were consistent with historical records.''

Victor Zammit describes Wambach's research thus:

By doing a scientific analysis on the past lives reported by her 10,000 plus volunteers she came up with some startling evidence in favor of reincarnation:

50.6 % of the past lives reported were male and 49.4 % were female this is exactly in accordance with biological fact.

The number of people reporting upper class or comfortable lives was in exactly the same proportion to the estimates of historians of the class distribution of the period.

The recall by subjects of clothing, footwear, type of food and utensils used was better than that in popular history books. She found over and over again that her subjects knew better than most historians when she went to obscure experts her subjects were invariably correct.

Her conclusion was:

'I don't believe in reincarnation I know it!' (Wambach 197
8)
.
In Life Before Life Dr. Wambach described the results of hypnotizing another 750 people and taking them to the time between their past and current lives. One of her most controversial findings was that people have some choice in their current lives and that the disembodied consciousness or soul does not enter the body until near birth. "The soul usually enters the body near birth, and has a choice of which fetus to enter. If one fetus is aborted, it is possible to choose another. In some cases, the soul who will occupy the fetus, is in contact with the soul of the mother, and can influence her decision regarding abortion."

I believe that we now live in a world where something much like the Helen Wambach Ph. D. research could be taken back six thousand to seven thousand years, [or even more]?

One of the great tragedies of the human species is an arrogance that we know everything, limited to the tangible. Many even exploit others who seek out the divine, viewing them as fools to be exploited. Consider how majestic the universe is, from experiencing the simple roaring of an ocean.on a beach one can hear during a full moon to the infinite galaxies above that hold countless mysteries, perhaps the fool is the one who sells his soul without even knowing it.

He does not think that the Egyptians even built the great pyramids, and after listening to this video, neither do I.

He estimates that a great worldwide cataclysm ended such great structures around the world a little over 12,000 years ago, with their technology gone to build them as well.

The Sumerians wrote of the Great Flood as part of their historical records

Interestingly, when the Bible wrote of people living for thousands of years before the great flood, so did the Sumerians who said that their kings ruled for a thousand years or so.

In addition, they found flood silt at these ancient ruins.

Why do all ancient cultures around the globe seem to have flood and giant myths?

There is a documentary called "Ancient Apocalypse" that he hosts that is very interesting.

We say that these things can't be explained only because we don't understand how they were accomplished. This is because we are technically inferior to the ancients who performed these things. We are in the "feet of clay", the most inferior moral and material period of human history.
