What positives and negatives do you see arising from the regime change in Iran?

Every military action causes all sorts of subsequent reactions.

Short term and long term.

Me?
I personally am looking forward to having great Saffron available again. The stuff from Afghanistan is okayish....but nowhere near as good as Iran's saffron.

I got just under a half ounce left....I'll plow through it and get new here in a few months.

3 F-15 war planes that cost $90 million dollars a piece were mistakenly shot down over Kuwait today. This war of choice is off to a great start!

There is NO positive in a war.

Iran navy has 11 fewer ships than it did last week.

To be fair....

Considering the high number of air hours flown....against a formidable enemy....and a few OLD jets were lost to friendly fire....

That's actually kinda remarkably good. Far below average.

During peacetime....
1 jet vx 100,000 hours of flight time.

During conflicts: 2 jets vx 100,000 hours of flight time.

This is actually the first case of friendly fire of aircraft During conflict. And "We" didn't do it. Kuwaiti did it....kinda....we don't know how or why. There will be an investigation as to how this happened. Were the pilots flying where they shouldn't have been?
Was the FoF signals lost due to some miscommunication? Were the hours or minutes of "no go" miscommunicated?

But in the meantime....
We have lost no jets to enemy fire. None....zero....zilch....empty set.

On the other side.....
Kuwait has more dogfight kills than our F-22 fighter jets have gotten yet.

One of the stupid Negatives is US oil reserves...

Oil has been cheap for the last 6 months... Trump said he was going to fill that reserve, it presently is at 58%, this is higher than Biden's number but Biden was facing very high prices and was intending to bomb Iran...

With the bombing of Iran, ships can't get insurance to go through the Strait of Hormuz. This is 20-30% world's oil supply...

Think someone in the Trump admin would have said, if we are going to war in an area which has 20+% of the global supply of oil, maybe we should fill up our reserves...

We did....thanks to several tankers siezed from Venezuela. If you listened to press briefings instead of News media coverage of them you would know this.

About the same as the fall of Iraq, maybe a little less. I would hope the USA and the Jews get beaten back before they try to destroy Russia and China and the whole world gets nuked.

jews that's the score.webp
