Absent sex-ed in schools, or at home from parents, porn does serve a useful purpose teaching people how sex works. I learned how to pleasure a woman watching lesbian-themed porn. Wasn't likely to learn that anywhere else.
So much more to sex than getting on, getting in, and getting off. When you watch porn (good porn at any rate,) you see how people like to touch and be touched and the various acts possible with another person. No mean feat getting a guy off being a simple matter of friction, mositure, and repetition, but women are relatively complicated how they enjoy sexuality. And seeing how people do it is helpful.
Ideally, sex should be entirely about giving pleasure to your partner. Hopefully, they think of it that way as well so it balances out evenly with both being satisfied. But if like me, prior to having access to porn, sex is just the man lying on top of the woman and moving back and forth under the covers a couple minutes sex isn't ever going to be anything wonderful. Seeing it in all its naked glory is better than never seeing it at all and trying to get good at it through 'on the job training.'
