Pornhub bans Texas because they want age verification.

in other news. VPN sales in texas shot up 100-fold.
VPN sales that require a credit card, basically an age verification. Sounds like the Texas system works as intended. Granted there are free VPN's but if you want streaming or whatnot you probably need the premium services.

So you think that if folks don't watch porn they will rape someone? You are a sicko.

No, I'm not a sicko, I'm informed

The internet became a big thing from about 1995 onwards.

In 1990 forcible rape hit 40 per 100,000 people. By 1999 it was down to 32.8, by 2009 it was down to 29.1 and down to 28.4 by 2015 when they changed the way rape was reported

"More Porn, Less Rape? The Controversy Revisited"

"In a previous post, I summarized a half-dozen recent studies showing that all over the world—in the U.S., Denmark, Japan, China, Hong Kong, and the Czech Republic—as pornography became more easily available because of legislative changes or the arrival of the Internet, rates of sexual assault dropped consistently and significantly. As a result, I concluded: More porn, less rape."

The people who say this isn't the case make the argument:

"Canadian researchers interviewed 118 imprisoned rapists to identify factors that had caused their crimes. Three stood out: their own childhood sexual victimization, recurring fantasies of committing sexual assault, and consumption of pornography."

That people who commit rape, consume porn. I mean, this is ridiculous to claim that the porn in making them rape people. They consume porn and they rape for similar reasons, the need to satisfy their needs. Taking the porn away doesn't allow them to satisfy their needs, they'd still rape with or without the porn.

However others won't rape because they have the porn.

"
Finally, in 2009, for a study on porn and violence against women, University of Montreal researchers advertised to find men who had never been exposed to X-rated media. They couldn’t find any. They were surprised and tried harder, advertising more extensively. They still couldn’t find any.

So, yes, rapists have viewed porn. But every other man has, too. If 1,000 men view porn, and 999 immediately commit rape, then we can say with confidence that the one spurs the other. But if 1,000 men view porn, and 10 commit rape, what can we say? Not much."

And they find that just about every man has viewed porn, so all male rapists use porn because almost all men USE PORN. Those who don't are probably people who don't need sex, EVER.

The conclusion:

"Prospective trials are more believable than retrospective studies. All the prospective trials show that as porn became more easily available, rates of sexual assault declined. I stand by my original conclusion: More porn, less rape."

Porn did not contribute to less women being raped. You are a nut case.

It’s always better to meet a woman in real life. Let’s also recognize the fact that plenty of women watch porn too.

Better to meet a partner in real life compared to online dating. A lot of Men these days are afraid to approach a woman. And the poisonous feminist culture has basically neutered some men and made women feel like it’s an insult for them to be approached. But thank God there are still those in America who are for traditional values. Tons of Americans reject the radical far left.

The feminist nonsense is typical. I guess those men just want a woman who likes to be told what to do.

And as for porn v. a real woman, I doubt many men prefer online porn. But many men view porn just to get a nut. Very few relationships have the same sex drive. Even fewer stay the same over the years.

I have not read the specifications of the age verification requirements or the punishment for violations of it.

But if PornHub were going to be punished (fined ect) for any kids who get through, I can see why they would not want to provide access.

I can't recall any of the site democrats opposing exposing little children to porn.

All they do is attack those who do.
