Popes Wants a Ban On Jet Bombers

The Pope Leo again says nyet to all forms of aerial bombardment wanting jets, fighters, bombers, and aircraft of all types essentially taken out of the equation in war as being too effective, reducing combat really only to Armies and Navies so that you can really see the whites of the eyes of those coming to kill you.

Never mind that hand-to-hand combat is a lot messier and indiscriminate and would likely only lead to an INCREASE in killing!

Any by association though the Pope doesn't mention it, I don't see how then we could not include rockets, mortars and missiles as well. The gist of the Pope's beef being that people just should not have to worry about bad things falling out of the sky at you.

The Pope didn't say a word about people not doing bad things in the first place putting others in a position where they needed to bomb you.

Maybe we should nix the fighters, bombers, missiles and high tech and simply arm both our army and the IRGC both with swords and bayonets.

Yep, that sure would go a long way to end the killing.
