You missed all that stuff in the Gospel didn’t you?And once again you as an unsaved Reprobate sinner, don't understand Christ's mission. And that is to bring Salvation to mankind via His death on the Cross.

The Gospel is not meant for people to "earn" salvation via works. And G-d certainly never advocated for the government to be a charity. In a nutshell, the Gospel is meant to transform people out of their old lives into new.You missed all that stuff in the Gospel didn’t you?
Cardinal Wojtywa, President Reagan, PM Maggie Thatcher, and Lech Walesa were the driving force behind the fall of the Iron Curtain, the Berlin Wall, and the Soviet Union.I just read a transcript of the interview. Norah O'Donnell is yet another fake Catholic who sold her soul. Every question she asked pushed the atheist leftwing agenda.
This pope isn't my cup of tea. I much preferred the canonized St. John Paul II who spoke of the abomination of socialism and denounced abortion in no uncertain terms at every opportunity. I remember when he did so right in front of Clinton's big red nose.
It's not just the Gospel and the New Testament - it's all over the books of the Law and Prophets of the Old Testament as well. You missed all that stuff in the Gospel didn’t you?

Yes He would. He COMMANDS it from His disciples. The ONLY LEGITIMATE function of the government is law and order, as Scripture details in Romans.Amazing watching you justify denying help to the poor, sick or suffering just because of the source
Do you really think Jesus would turn down helping the suffering just because it was done collectively by a government of We the People?
Yes He would. He COMMANDS it from His disciples. The ONLY LEGITIMATE function of the government is law and order, as Scripture details in Romans.
You're correct in the sense that people shouldn't do "Good works" for the sole intention of gaining salvation. That said, if a person is to gain salvation, that person's "works" will be evident because of the salvation that person has received. They go hand in hand - without question. The Gospel is not meant for people to "earn" salvation via works. And G-d certainly never advocated for the government to be a charity. The problem is when said governments go on to ignore G-d, just as the US is doing now, then the nation falls under judgement. A country cannot exist without borders, and the US Constitution is very specific in what the Fed can and cannot doYou're correct in the sense that people shouldn't do "Good works" for the sole intention of gaining salvation. As for God advocating about helping the poor, the oppressed, the needy, etc - you may want to take a look at my previous post. It's all over the Old Testament. And when God spoke in the Old Testament, he was usually addressing nations as a whole - so yes, he was addressing their leaders and "governments" as well.
lol
Pope Francis denounced efforts to limit migration at the U.S.-Mexico border on Sunday, calling out a Texas effort to shut down a Catholic charity “madness.”
The Catholic leader said in a “60 Minutes” interview with Norah O’Donnell that American leaders should instead embrace forgiveness toward migrants entering the country.
“Migration is something that makes a country grow,” he said. “They say that you Irish migrated and brought the whiskey, and that the Italians migrated and brought the mafia. Migrants sometimes suffer a lot. They suffer a lot.”
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) in February attempted to subpoena Annunciation House, a Catholic charity that acts as a temporary boarding house for migrants from Mexico. He accused the group of “alien harboring, human smuggling, and operating a stash house.”
“That is madness. Sheer madness,” Francis said. “To close the border and leave them there, that is madness.”
“The migrant has to be received,” he continued, advocating against GOP efforts to close the southern border. “Thereafter, you see how you are going to deal with him. Maybe you have to send him back, I don’t know, but each case ought to be considered humanely.”
Says the man in the pointy hat who lives in a city walled off by 30 foot walls and where ingress/egress are tightly controlled by men with guns.....Walls for me but not for thee.
Air Abbott needs to airlift a few thousand into Vatican City.
If Biden wasn;t the immigration lawbreaker that he is, these questions wouldnt exist.
While ignoring the HARMS to the American people. So yes, Pope Francis simply was stating what is written in both the Old and New Testaments and what has been a foundation of Christianity since its birth.
While ignoring the HARMS to the American people.

Including American "people"."Give unto God what is God's and unto Caesar what is Caesars."
Obviously the border issue needs to be handled. I'm 100% non-partisan/independent when it comes to politics.
I'm 100% pro military and I respect and admire our veterans. My father, my uncle and my brother in law all served. I would have been proud to serve if called upon.
And yes, our government needs to figure it out and stop playing stupid, childish games solely for political purposes at the expense of human beings.
And yes - EVERY ONE OF THEM IS A HUMAN BEING - no better or worse than any of you, in my Father's eyes.
So stop the nonsense - stop acting like animals and treat people humanly.
Well ,if he loves these filthy illegals ,let us send all of them to the Vatican. Maybe HE can feed them all with 5 loaves and 2 fish.

The issue to me isn't if it's epidemic or not, it's the fact that the church has an official or unofficial policy to cover it up and protect the criminal priests from justice encouraging them to continuing their sinful, immoral and illegal behavior. There is not a pedophilia epidemic in the RCC, and has never been worse than in any other organization. Please stop peddling that leftwing lie. They are just disproportionately trumpeted by the Marxist media. New cases in the US since 2005 are near nil.
I don't care when confused people like rightwinger or fortfun or joe b or crepitus spout their garbage, but I do get upset when conservatives carry water for the Marxist agenda when we all should be allied against it,
Any fool can do that .Doesn’t matter if he was the Son of God or not, Jesus still had strong views on helping those who are suffering
Very trueThe issue to me isn't if it's epidemic or not, it's the fact that the church has an official or unofficial policy to cover it up and protect the criminal priests from justice encouraging them to continuing their sinful, immoral and illegal behavior.
I couldn't even get through this whole thing (yet)
