Donald Trump’s popularity is rising in the days since his election, according to a new POLITICO/Morning Consult poll of registered voters.

Forty-six percent of voters now have a very favorable or somewhat favorable opinion of the president-elect. Twelve percent have a somewhat unfavorable opinion and 34 percent have a very unfavorable opinion of him.

It’s a dramatic uptick since the election. Trump’s favorability has grown 9 points, 37 percent to 46 percent, compared to a Morning Consult poll right before the election -- while his unfavorability has dropped 15 points, from 61 percent to 46 percent.

Poll: Looking ahead to a Trump presidency, a majority sees change

(CNN)Two weeks after Election Day, most Americans say President-elect Donald Trump will ultimately do a good job as president, though fewer approve of the way he's handled the transition so far, according to a new CNN/ORC Poll.

A narrow majority (53%), say they think Trump will do a very or fairly good job as president, and 40% say they have a lot of confidence in Trump to deal with the economy, a share that outpaces the percentage who had that much confidence in Barack Obama, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton or Ronald Reagan ahead of their first inaugurations.

More people dislike him than like him. And it doesn't get better for him.

Complete falsehood. Typical.

In Florida, Trumps approval is around 75%
Approval for what? the prick hasn't even taken office yet.......

Talk about setting the bar low, sheesh.

That is correct, he hasn't taken office yet, so what could be swaying people?

Think it might have something to do with these jobless protestors that have displayed their pettiness and child like behavior for over a week because they lost the election?

Wow, his favorability has soared to within 22 points of Obama's favorability in November 2008!!

I'm swooning!

Well, there was a lot of animosity towards the Republicans and Bush in general back in 2008, so it's understandable why people liked DumBama so much. But it's like what we were telling you leftists just before the election, there is a trend here and it's a positive trend for Trump.

So now you're pretending there's no animosity towards Obama. That's your excuse? good one.

Er... I wasn't questioning the "why", I was questioning the "what", as in "what the fuck has he done to earn an 'approval rating' from the voters"?

IMHO being the impetus for a bunch of hysterical left wing, brown shirts to go on a rampage isn't something that should earn one voter approval.

To be honest, I can't think of anything that would change people's minds other than that. I mean, what else happened between now and the election outside of those protests and riots?

For most of us, we choose one side or the other. If we don't like what's happening with the side we're on, we switch sides.

So now you're pretending there's no animosity towards Obama. That's your excuse? good one.

Not by a majority, no there wasn't. Remember we just had an election of the two most untrusted and unpopular candidates in history. Trump started from the bottom and is working is way up. DumBama was liked by a lot of people right from the beginning.

Yeah right. That was based from 1,800 voters when:
1. There are anti Trump protest *ALL OVER* the nation. Repeat ALL OVER the nation. Even right on his face.
2. That prick hasn't prove anything.
3. People that voted against him like me haven't recovered yet from the hang over.
4. Rise of hatred groups like the white nationalist are getting bolder. Hail Trump.
5. He is busy tweeting that are against him but do not condemn the alt right that support him. Hail Trump.
6. Top advisers Bannon, Session, Flynn are controversial, racist or rejects. These are the people that will run this country. Good start.

Let us know his popularity after one year as president. And don't tell us the economy has improved and unemployment is below 4% in February 17.

Does your dumb ass know how numbers work?

Holy shit. It's like a nationwide strain of ignorance is hitting us like smallpox.
