Sad state of affairs.........Trumps propaganda attack must be working
Actually it doesn't seem to be. TheHill article notes,

Not that he hasn't been trying, but Rump's credibility is nonexistent, particularly when the klown crowiing about "the media is the enemy" is the same guy repeatedly claiming his own father was born in a very wonderful place in Germany and it wasn't raining and he wasn't mocking that reporter. The whole world knows he's a pathological liar, the only difference is those who can't bring themselves to acknowledge it.
It remains a supreme irony, since without that very media, specifically the seedier side thereof, nobody would have ever even heard of the ************. To expand on the above, when Donald Rump posed for soft porn pics with his daughter to splash a HEY LOOKA ME spread in a magazine, when he invented "John Miller" and "John Baron" to feed salacious bullshit about his own sex life, when he hung out at fake wrestling going "where's the camera', when he had that dumbass looka-me-I'm-a-bully TV show, when he made up his own fake Time Magazine, when he stood in front of TV cameras hawking personal vitamins where you send in your pee, when he took out full-page ads calling for innocent people to be executed ---- ALL of that was also "the media". It
created him. He literally owes his existence to "the media". So if we consider that underbelly of the beast it can certainly be deemed the enemy of the people.
As some unknown wag put it long ago: "Nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public". And those who exploit that truism obviously use "the media" to do so.
Nevertheless, that's not *ALL* "the media" means, so without specifics the question remains meaningless.
