Yep, they cut off visitors up here in Maine nursing homes too! But the nursing home residents continued to catch it.... In Maine, with fewer people in the state, (but the oldest or second oldest population of senior citizens next to Florida as a percent of our population), we were able to contact trace infection spread, and covid was getting in to the nursing homes from the nurses aids that worked there....I know some people who have a relative in a Florida nursing home and for quite a long period of time they were not allowed to visit her.

So Maine had our National Guard medical crew, go to all the nursing homes to give training on their protective gear etc.... How to wear N95 masks etc....
And when vaccines arrived, the National guard and pharmacies helped get the nursing home residents vaccinated to near 80% vaccination rate in the homes.... Their covid deaths came to a halt.
He's got plenty of time on his hands now, to contemplate, the error of his ways....

We reported earlier about how Kamala Harris was underwater in the most recent polling and how she’s turning out to be a huge mistake for Joe Biden.
But the polling isn’t good for Joe Biden either. It shows that the areas that he had been running okay in are now slipping away as Americans see more of him and aren’t happy with what they are seeing. Americans are beginning to get that they were sold a lemon and that Biden isn’t anything like he was promised – the nice, caring, moderate honest guy.
Despite the fact that Joe Biden has been a liar all his life, and not just an ordinary politician kind of a liar, but a truly whopper-telling kind of a liar, Americans had believed that he was honest. Now they’re seeing him up close and his constant lying even making up things like that he used to drive 18 wheelers. Now that number is underwater. Now, most get that he is not honest or trustworthy, they get he isn’t moderate and they surely don’t think he’s the “unifier” that he claimed to be.
As Liz Peek breaks down at Fox, the Economist/YouGov Poll shows some real trouble points for Biden now. The numbers are finally catching up to the real Joe Biden.
39% of those polled think Joe Biden says what he believes; 44% think he says what people want to hear;38% are confident “in Joe Biden’s ability to deal wisely with an international crisis,” while 46% are “uneasy”;41% think Joe Biden is “honest and trustworthy” but 42% thinks he is not; [….]Only 21% think Biden can bring the country together; 53% do not;51% think Biden is “liberal” or “very liberal” and only 27% think he is “moderate.”Americans also don’t think that Joe Biden cares much about the 47% who say not much or not at all to 45% who say somewhat or a lot.
His job approval has also taken a dive from just a week ago when the ABC poll, which found the country thinking we were going in the wrong direction, had him at 50% approval. Now he’s below 50%, at 46% having any approval to 44% disapproving.

This slide is with the media mainly backing Biden’s every play and letting him coast. This is the guy who is supposed to be the most popular ever? I’m thinking maybe no.
As Peek notes, this poll was taken July 24 to July 27, before the most recent confused Wuhan coronavirus messaging from the White House which is likely to cause those numbers to go down even more.

The Prime Minister of New Zealand is correct. Canada has no Murdoch owned press lying to the people about their government, and Canadians minds aren't being poisoned by billionaire owned media now that the convicted felon Conrad Black no longer owns the National Post.
