A new survey shows a sudden spike in Republican support for aiding Ukraine...
but not because of any deep principles or understanding of foreign policy. Nope. It’s simply because Trump finally changed his tune. MAGA world spent two years parroting Kremlin talking points about “not our fight,” only to instantly fall in line the second Dear Leader shifted his stance.
This isn’t about strategy, values, or patriotism. It’s proof of what many of us already knew: Trump supporters don’t think for themselves. They bleat along like sheep, waiting for their master to tell them what to believe. Today it’s Ukraine. Tomorrow it’ll be something else. And they’ll follow without a thought.
Trump could easily lean towards Putin again, and the sheep will mindlessly go along.

According to the Chicago Council on Global Affairs’ July 18–30, 2025 survey, Republican support for U.S. military aid to Ukraine rose dramatically—from 30 % in March to 51 % in July, a 21-point increase—while support for economic aid climbed from 32 % to 41 %, a 9-point boost.”
