There are politicians with views. Newt Gingrich and David Duke can both give a good small government speech. The GOP weeds out the David Dukes. The Dems never do.

The first time we saw the "real Hillary" was during the Clarence Thomas hearings...

"When a woman accuses a man of sexual harassment, we should believe the woman" - an amazing take from the super super SUPER SMART Yale educated attorney...

and then it came out. Hillary is completely corrupt. All of her "work" at Rose Law Firm was for crooks. Instead of going to prison for Castle Grande, she forced Chelsea's bio daddy Webb Hubbell to do 2 years for claiming to do the work HILLARY BILLED FOR (a separate crime called BILLING FRAUD which should have resulted in DISBARMENT but didn't solely because of political bias at ABA.)

For Vince Foster, the one who actually did do Hillary's "work," the night of his "suicide" Hillary was looting his office of incriminating evidence.

The sane thing for Democrats to do at that point was FIND ANOTHER ONE TO CARRY THE TORCH...

But it was not "support" for Hillary, it was WORSHIP.


The only reason Bill Clinton's Presidency was a success is because everything he wanted got BLOCKED.

1. ensure our economy is a free-market one
2. restore the middle-class
3. preserving democracy in the US
4. preserving democracy in the world
5. making healthcare available/affordable for all US citizens
6. preserving the social safety net for the elderly and poor
7. ensuring all children have adequate housing, food, healthcare, and education
8. ensure women have access to family planning, including abortion as a last resort
9. ensure families have access to safe and affordable child care
10. necessary gov't services are well managed and adequately funded

I trust the Dems to do these more than I trust the GOP.

I think we assume a great candidate will be a great president but that is naïve. Hillary was a terrible candidate but I think she would have made a great president, what we got instead was a great candidate and a terrible president.
