Well I don't trust many politicians... but then, Trump's not a politician.

I actually think Trump brings some interestingly positive things to the table that we could certainly use as a nation at this time. Forget about his personality or celebrity for a minute... think in terms of what he knows and his field of expertise.

I think Trump understands why companies outsource labor and what has happened to the American manufacturing sector. Understanding the problems, I think he has some solid ideas on what can be done to reverse the problem and bring those jobs back to America. The typical establishment politician is too tied to corporate special interests to make any kind of bold moves but Trump isn't.

Another area he excels in is negotiation. You can knock him for a lot of things but he generally negotiates deals to his advantage. As president, the deals he negotiates with other countries are going to benefit us... we're not going to be patsies anymore. People say, "oh, he can't do this or that!" But... Trump has had people telling him this his whole life and defying them.

We also hear how he will be unable to get Congress to work with him... but again, we see what happens to people who don't want to cooperate with Trump. I can't imagine a bunch of mice who are afraid of Bill Clinton and Barack Obama are going to be much of a challenge for a man like Donald Trump.

I was talking Wednesday to some others about Super Tuesday and someone raised the question... I wonder how much better Cruz might have done had he not been relentlessly attacked from all sides? A Trump supporter made the point, and I hadn't really considered it... Things are tough out there... this is business as usual for Trump. He was right. Trump has endured the same kind of attacks from every side and he just gets stronger.

Lying about what? That he is pro life? That the Bible is his favorite book? That he is a "real" conservative? You know, I can remember when Bill Clinton was saying one thing in the primary and something totally different in the general and that was not lying but posturing. He was defended for being smart enough to "run to the middle" and there was no questioning of his trustworthiness. It remains a fact that Clinton was impeached and disbarred for lying under oath to a grand jury. Hillary has lied and proven herself untrustworthy over Benghazi and her emails. George W. Bush lied us into war over WMDs in Iraq. I kind of think the "liar" label has been worn out and doesn't really make much difference anymore, to be honest. The opposition is going to scream "liar" and the sycophants are going to defend... and that's politics in the 21st century.

So again... let's roll back to my previous points.... What Trump legitimately brings to the table. Your politicians like Hillary, Bernie, Rubio, Cruz and Kasich... are all smart enough to understand why American manufacturing jobs are being outsourced. Have you heard them tell you what they plan to do about that... Has Obama done anything about that?

You see, the problem is... there are people with a LOT of money and power who control the typical politicians through their campaign contributions and such. They want these things kept as they are because that's how they make lots of money. Someone like Trump, doesn't really give a shit. He knows what the problem is and how to fix it. I think this is a valuable point in Trump's favor... he isn't going to be controlled by anyone.
