jack they think they are right....the point is both parties called each other the same things and many times accused each other of the same things.....more alike than they would acknowledge...If I call a hyena a hyena and the hyena calls me a hyena ... only one of us is right.
The dems actually ARE those things.jack they think they are right....the point is both parties called each other the same things and many times accused each other of the same things.....more alike than they would acknowledge...
This just really struck me, watching a pundit on the teevee. He said, "the American people just want their leaders to work together". All the other panelists nodded in agreement, as if to say "well, yeah, sure, we all know that".
I've said it a zillion times myself. Now I'm not so sure. It's what I want personally, but as far as the country goes, maybe I'm/we're wrong.
I'm not asking about you, personally. I'm asking about your perception of the country overall.
Does America want its leaders to work together, or do they want one political force that overwhelms its opponent?

In order for two 'opposing' ideologies to be able to cooperate there either has to be COMPROMISE or a solid platform(Constitution) to follow. Ideologies are nothing more than religions also known as belief systems. The problem with compromise is it leads to violations of various individuals belief systems that are offensive to the individual on both sides of the compromise. That is WHY compromise leads to "endless conflict"(revolution for the sake of revolution). This just really struck me, watching a pundit on the teevee.
