I don't support this nonsense at all. I was merely citing the reason doesn't attack Chinese boats. They can defend themselves.
But China is the biggest source of the biggest killer, Fentanyl. Many times as lethal as cocaine.
So if you want to save American lives, you have to stop the fentanyl as priority one.

So I don't see blowing up drug boats from Venezuela being about drugs, but about control of Venezuela.

Not as lethal as cocaine, but MORE lethal than cocaine and more addictive in a quicker time period!!!!

Obama stayed within the bounds of the AUMF.
It gave permission to go after not just the people who attacked us on 9-11, but those who support or defend the people who attacked us on 9-11.
Which includes no matter where they are located.
Like going after BinLaden in Pakistan.

Obama wrote an EO naming the Somali pirates terrorists and proceeded to bomb that country relentlessly. We are still bombing it today. Killing untold numbers of civilians.

Obama designated the Houthi's terrorists (at the behest of the Saudi's) and proceeded to bomb them. Targeting and killing a US citizen and his son and killing untold numbers of civilians

Trump designated the drug cartels as terrorists and is now bombing them.

We push these people right in to the arms of actual terrorists by doing this. We cant bomb our way out of this unless we are willing to kill them all and by all I mean everyone in those countries. Every bomb we drop has a better chance of creating more terrorists than it has of killing them.

Would you feel better if Trump lied to you and told you the drug cartels are in cahoots with Al Qaeda? That's what Obama did with the Houthis and Somalis.

Tell me how the Syrian government was in league with the terrorists? Tell me how Libya was.

1. Not all terrorist acts are criminal but even if they were.

2. Not all criminal acts are terrorism.

3. I've forgotten more about counter terrorism and what terrorism is than you've ever known.
Oh Nooooo! It's Internet Rambo!

Everybody Ruuuunnnn! :scared1:

FYI
The US govt claims only around 5 civilian deaths from bombing in Somalia, but independent watch dogs say around 100.

 • In Somalia, there were a total of 263 U.S. counter-terrorism airstrikes, drone strikes, and ground raids from 2003 to 2021. Of the 263, the majority (202) occurred under the Trump administration. Collectively, between 1,479 and 1,886 people have been killed in the U.S. strikes in Somalia: between 1,389 and 1,696 militants, between 34 and 121 civilians, and between 56 and 69 unknowns.[11]

We've run over 500 drone strikes in Somalia.....

Let's say it's zero. What exactly is the justification for us running bombing raids there? Al Shabab is the terrorist group in Somalia. They are only a threat to the foreign backed government there not to the US or its assets.

We've run over 500 drone strikes in Somalia.....

My figures were through 2021...In my above post.

117 drone strikes, the others are non drone strikes....and some ground strikes...around 435 in total to date.

We do this in COORDINATION with the Somali government....against ISIS etc.

So Obama named the Somali pirates as terrorists.
Trump named every drug trafficker in the world a terrorist.
BTW: Would that include the Sackler family?

If so, i'd say drone them all.

Al-Shabaab is the primary and most significant terrorist group operating in Somalia. The group, whose name means "the youth" in Arabic, is a Salafi-jihadist militant organization formally aligned with al-Qaeda since 2012.

Doesn't the AUMF include groups that support al-Qaeda?
Like al-Salafi?

Just sayin'

Do you agree with US policy to kill narco terrorists?

If the narco-terrorists have ceased activity and can be safely seized without substantive risk to our own people... No.

If the narco-terrorists have not ceased activity or cannot be safely seized, then... absolutely
Yes.

The only GOOD drug-running narco-terrorist is a DEAD drug-running narco-terrorist.

The more of them - and their boats - at the bottom of the Carib, the better.

"Luca Maduro sleeps with the fishes."

Hell... I'll pass-out the popcorn and soda-pop and beer while our people are "lighting them up".

And laugh about it afterwards.

al shabab is al-Qaeda affiliated
and
ISIS Somalia is affiliated with the Islamic State....

From what I have read....

And the Somalia govt is partnering with us, to be there and do the strikes.

Trump hasn’t assassinated two innocent Americans by drone like Barry Hussein did, Simp.

Trump hasn’t blown up a wedding killing kids like Barry Hussein did.

Man, your desperation is showing. Trump is a criminal. End of story. Face facts, moron.

Nobody believes your lying ass, moron.

I think he knows that....

But to me, that just means we are attacking the smaller Venezuelan boats because they can not fight back....not because they are the worst of the worst...

and I am fine with stopping and capturing those Venezuelan as we do with the Coast guard off our coasts and sometimes in the Caribbean, and seize tons and tons of cocaine and other drugs, and prisoners who sometimes talk....

Normally the CIA identifies and tracks the ships carrying drugs, they notify the nearby country we are going to stop them, and our Coast guard then takes over inspecting etc coordinating with nearby countries.

And NOTE! I read 1 out of every 4 or 5 coastguard inspections find no drugs, and the CIA was wrong.
The Coast Guard seems to have been doing a very good job peacefully intercepting the flow of cocaine. It would have better to have increased the resources of the Coast Guard in the performance of this task than to have brought the Navy into this operation. For a summary of the Coast Guard's efforts see Coast Guard Seizes Over 240,000 Pounds of Cocaine, Doubling Amount Interdicted Over Previous Year | Homeland Security

Yes, that's what I was thinking. The coast guard has been doing a phenomenal job this year, I think I read they 5 folded the tons of cocaine seized this year vs previous years!

They work with our CIA, who guides them to the ships and boats to board and inspect at sea, in coordination with the related island country governments involved.

I think we need to increase customs agents too because a lot comes in through our legal ports of entry via Trucks and passenger cars.
