The far left fringe, obviously.
I got broken from supporting a party, real early in my voting life. Both parties, quite frequently give us plenty to hate on a party basis. We are constantly having to choose the lessor of two weevils, and it can only be decided on a candidate by candidate basis. By in large part, the main thrusts of the two parties are beyond the pail of acceptance and support of the majority of the country, certainly beyond consistent support of Independent voters, already making their choices individually, as to who will do the least damage in the time frame of consideration.
Except you can't make decisions like that anymore.
I voted for a Democrat as my US Rep many times. Then, when Obamacare came down the pipe, the Democrats didn't give a **** what their constituents wanted. Hell, Massachusetts elected a Republican Senator to try to stop it.
And still those Democrats, including mine, toed the party line on Obamacare and fucked over their voters in 2010.
And that, my friend, was the beginning of the end split ticket voter.
Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.
This is what Missouri looked like in January 2009...
January 2011...
January 2013...
January 2015...
Trump's inauguration, January 2017...
So... Where did the change occur?
Newsflash, it didn't have a fuckin' thing to do with Trump.
Under Obama the Democrats pulled the rug out from under working class Americans... and once they lost us, they were forced to become more and more progressive to find the votes they needed to be competitive.
2010 was where it all started.
And look at what Missouri looks like now....
