We have long been a country where we start off diverse and work towards commonality. This is a very good thing and good for our country.

In current usage among the intelectually benighted multiculturalists, people start of diverse and REMAIN diverse. They are then pitted against others for the good of nobody.

Diversity is now just a code word used by globalists wanting to destablize Western nations by flooding them with people from incomparable cultures and who have absolutely no desire to assimilate.

Weird that our founders were completely aware of this 200 years ago huh?
They framed the Naturalization Act Of 1790 the way they did for a reason didn’t they?

Only the right wing doesn't believe in natural rights. Our Constitution was intelligently designed to be both gender and race neutral, from Inception.

No reason for diversity in the USA in my opinion . It simply leads to having to deal with foreign ways and foreign thinking . [see 'ilham omar' and 'talib' and their Imported 'somali' electors ] . And then laws , rules and regulations change to accommodate diversity. Many foreigners for example want to modify American Gun Rights and Freedom of Speech in the USA . I see that as a poor trade just to have a 'somali' killer/murderer ' on the Minnesota police force .

Diversity is not an all exclusive item. It makes a world of difference who composes that element of diversity.

That is the huge mistake that has been made regarding diversity. The liberals have loaded the dice so to speak by convincing so many that all divesity is good. Simply not the case.

If you talk about the French, the Eyeties, the Germans, the Dutch, the Scandanavians, the Russians, and other Europeans and even Asians then diversity is a good thing because they are intelligent, educated groups that help America. We do not need to be bringing in the elements that are low i.q., and or that have membership in the most intolerant religion in the World.

Forcing diversity on society is like forcing a man and woman who hate each other to marry. In most cases, diversity only makes one party happy at the disadvantage of the other.

That begs the question of why diversity at all? I'd be quite happy living with people of my own race, and happier with people of my own ethnic background. Why is it others need to diversify with us?

However, when a radically different culture is dropped point blank among a generationally established and accepted American culture, that's another story indeed and often bad things will result, particularly if said new, hostile culture refuses to assimilate. Additionally, bad domestic cultures exist as well, such as inner city gangsta and narco-terror ones, but in their cases it is more a matter of their refusal to assimilate to the culture of American justice and law. If we could solve the issue of bad cultures seems to me no one would be mentioning race at all in diversification conversations.

Chinese and Indians are good and itelligent people and they can and do contribute. Their children assimilate quite well and usually are very successful

You really do not understand our immigration problem. The .problem being we have allowed millions of people to come in who in no way measure up to the Chinese or the Indians. These people that are a problem have nothing to contribute but cheap labor if that. Many of them just come here to milk the cash cow and get on welfare as quickly as possible and take advantage of our policies of helping immigrants more than we help our own people.

Genes are what determines a race. It took millions of years for the various races to emerge as well as their cultures.
