BREAKING: Superstar California Governor Gavin Newsom unleashes a fiery attack on Fox News and their nonstop fascist propaganda — and advises his fellow Democrats on exactly how to handle them.
In a viral new interview, Newsom ripped into Fox News as a "24/7 doom loop," perhaps the best description to date for the way in which the right-wing outlet pumps paranoid conspiracy theories into the homes of millions of elderly Americans.
Newsom said that Fox is "quite literally bullshit and misinformation" which in turn creates a crucial question that must be answered heading into the elections: "What do we do as Democrats to infect that ecosystem with some reality checks? And it can’t be episodic — you’ve got to go on 24/7."
For his part, Newsom is going right to the source to combat the lies and will be participating in a "red vs. blue state" debate with Florida MAGA Governor Ron DeSantis to air in November.
Newsom explained the rationale behind his appearances on Fox—
"There are a lot of good folks that are watching, honestly, a lot of persuadable folks, I really believe that, not just the core base," said Newsom. "There are a lot of independents still watching Fox. And there are plenty of Democrats still watching Fox. I talk to them all the time, or they bring up as if I’m like, ‘Wow, you’re watching Fox?’"
The governor is absolutely right. The best way to fight Republican misinformation is by aggressively spreading the truth.
Rumors are already bubbling that Newsom may run for president in 2028. Would you support him?
