Good old boy more than race has a lot to do with who gets hired. I tried most of my adult life to get a construction managers job but it always went to some unqualified drunk who has some connection to the owner of the company and then they want me to ''train him''. He was making top pay with bonuses I was making 4 bucks an hour. I started focusing on working on side jobs until I was working on my own. So being white isn't a help knowing the right people does.

None, my grand mother was considered a person of color as her father. My parents taught me different then the stereotype that you seem to consider me. Maybe you live a protected ,isolated life.
