If true, this is exactly why the Democrat's are losing it. Every move they make is actually showing just how much they are trying to hide.
Now IMHO every extra dollar that is being found and saved should go towards righting the wrong in the so called social security shortfall, and they should work to immediately reform the program that would then incentivise continued work ethic in recipient's by not penalizing them if they decide to keep working after age 62.
Why would you penalize worker's after they retire and start drawing their earned social security benefits, when in fact if they continue to work instead of stopping work, they would continue to pay into the system "income taxes" and social security without penalties being incurred if they make above a certain amount due to a cap.
Stop capping social security after 62, and watch how many people will stay working after the incentive to work is no longer hampered by a ridiculous cap that disincentivises people to continue working.
Why is it the federal governments business to cap or penalize the citizen after they begin drawing their SS (in which they earned), if they want to continue on in the workforce paying their taxes to the federal government without a ridiculous disincentive to do so ? Would not the federal government stand to make more money by paying the people their checks starting at 62, but then letting the worker continue on in the workforce without any penalties attached ???
Make all the stupidity make sense, otherwise on how all the bull chit the government has done to us over the year's, was somehow being done by people who created government bureaucratic based on unscientific methods and data that actually backfired on the government instead of lifting it up by lifting us up.
Many worker's would opt for the smaller check at 62, but then keep on working and paying their taxes with the check they've earned then becoming a helpful add that can further stabilize and strengthen the country and the family as a result.
Why is it the government's business to penalize worker's by capping their income past a certain amount, and then doing so just because the worker began to draw a check that was worked for over the year's once they had reached retirement age ?
Keeping a worker with year's of knowledge in the system paying taxes after reaching the age of 62 is the best common sense way of thinking that the nation could ever offer a citizen after they begin to draw their SS check.
The government loses nothing, and actually gains by letting the worker continue on without penalty or caps on income after the age of 62 once begins to draw their SS check.
