....the JBlake case is similar to the Alton Sterling case--the police did everything right
...they DID try non-lethal means
...a key aspect of these incidents is --they are not MOVIES!!!!!
in the ASterling case:
...police sent to check on a possible crime/etc
--do they get out and start shooting?--no
--they tell him to put his hands on a car hood--Sterling does NOT COMPLY with this SIMPLE command..do the cops shoot him?? no
..next, the cops try to grab him and he -----STRUGGLES with them
do they shoot him ?? no
..he finally puts his hands on the hood, but then resists--again---
do they shoot NOW---NO
...they try to taser him--it doesn't work--he still fights [ knowing he has a pistol!]
-do they shoot him NOW??? NO!!!!!!!!!
...they have used all non-lethal means possible
..he CONTINUES to fight/struggle [ like Blake ]
..they finally see his pistol and HAVE to shoot
..these crazy criminals continue to fight and struggle after non-lethal means attempted
..ESCALATING the THREAT--they will not STOP!!! never stopping fighting/resisting..
