Severely Conservative
Nowak is the most common surname in Poland and the victim was someone of Polish descent, which could be a factor that led to his death. In the decade preceding the 2016 Brexit referendum, Polish migrants were among the most frequent targets of anti-migrant hate in Britain. Nigel Farage once said that he prefers migrants from India and Australia to those from eastern Europe.
Henry Nowak was an 18-year-old British-Polish[3] student in his first year studying accountancy at the University of Southampton. He grew up in Chafford Hundred, Essex.[4]
When Hampshire Police officers arrived, they spoke to Digwa while Nowak lay on the ground having been stabbed. The bodycam footage shows that Nowak repeatedly told the police officers, "I can't breathe," as the police handcuffed him.
