Polar Bear Blog – Pre-Season

Churchill’s Bear Season is fast approaching even if tourists will not arrive en masse for essentially another month. So here is a quick update of where we stand right now…

Reports coming from Nanuk Lodge down by the Nelson River are of a very nice mother and cubs season. A lot of healthy looking bears so it seems like pretty good news to me. The only downside is that might mean that the bears might take their time getting moving.​
