Warren releases her plan to revamp trade policy and it resembles Donald Trump's agenda more than Barack Obama's (significant differences w/ both). In many ways, she would go further than Trump in departing from trade policies of recent decades.

Warren moves to outflank Trump on trade

that is what we need, even more governmental control over private companies

If reports are accurate that Nancy has agreed to call a vote on Trump's NAFTA replacement in September, it will be interesting to see how this all shakes out.

Oh there will be change alright if Warren were to end any petroleum subsidies.
Warren will tax the oil industry, end the coal industry, and put windmill farms everywhere. Yet there are people stupid enough to vote for her.

onshore windmills are especially bad for nature. the oil industry is already taxed. coal has been killed by section 29 credits which I suppose is somewhat ironic since it would be a subsidy. Yes there are people stupid enough to vote for her. The brilliance in her proposal however is that nobody would ever agree to it ergo she would never have to actually do anything as far as trade if elected.

All well and fine but she will find out just like Trump did, that negotiations are never one sided.

Warren just issued a trade plan that would prevent the United States from trading with its allies. We can't isolate ourselves from the world. We have to engage.

I'd figure Elizabeth Pocahontas Warren would have us trading with the Indians on the reservations.
