And here we have the founders of the so called "Palestinian Movement" deny the existence of such a people:

"There are no differences between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. We are all part of one nation. It is only for political reasons that we carefully underline our Palestinian identity... yes, the existence of a separate Palestinian identity serves only tactical purposes. The founding of a Palestinian state is a new tool in the continuing battle against Israel".
- Zuhair Muhsin, military commander of the PLO and member of the PLO Executive Council -

"There is no such country as Palestine. 'Palestine' is a term the Zionists invented. There is no Palestine in the Bible. Our country was for centuries part of Syria. 'Palestine' is alien to us. It is the Zionists who introduced it".
- Auni Bey Abdul-Hadi, Syrian Arab leader to British Peel Commission, 1937 -

Well, the Syrians do their hummous a bit differently.

Are you out to lunch again, Roudy?

We already explained pan-Arabism to you a coupla times. It doesn't devalue Palestinians' national rights one bit.

who is "we" ??? what are "Palestinian national rights" are there "jewish national
rights'"?--------come to think of it------circa 1900 "Palestinian national rights" was an
expression equivalent to ZIONISM Just about every Zionist organization at that time
had the word PALESTINE in its title------as a kid I used to think "Palestine" is a Hebrew
word--------it is actually greek---PALESTINA----but sorta from a Hebrew root. It is certainly
not an Arabic word----arabs cannot say it.
Syrians are influenced quite a bit by their GREEK GENES-----chick peas were, in ancient times----
a mainstay of the greek diet -----the word "choumous" ---is actually "chickpeas"---
in Hebrew. I do not know it in greek

Years ago, Roudy, there were posters from Israel. They could even tell from the different accents from which country the Arab came from, much the same way as we can tell in the U.S. people from different regions. Does a Southern accent sounds like someone from Brooklyn?
