Hey, I thought it was stupid and dumb when Smollett did it, and I still think that ANYONE who commits a hate crime against themselves should be prosecuted. Why? Because when real hate crimes happen, lots of people will point to the fake ones and say that the real ones are fake as well. It does no good for the cause for people to commit hoax hate crimes.
