Buying a Gun & CCW here has NO regulation at all, yet St Louis, MO has the #1 crime rate in the USA & perhaps the World!!! However to vote you must register a month ahead of time, sign affidavit, pass background checks, occupancy checks, citizenship test, take off work, drive far away to assigned polling place, stand in long lines show current valid photo ID & hope you were not scrubbed from voter roll for a huge variety of reasons & the official allows you to vote.

Unfortunately most of us work. And schools will not write us excuses or provide us with buses to transport us from our non urban communities. It doesn't matter, right now with these protests Democrats are going to ban semi automatics. The American public is sick of them.

Just judging that the 9 mass killings since 2010 were done with "recent" purchase's of these weapons, I would say YES that banning them would probably stop future ones. Obviously, the ones that have owned them for years haven't used them to slaughter innocents--so we can presume that the stop sale of them would prevent future ones, or at least most of them.
