There isn't any evidence presented here to suggest that Buttigieg is a paedophile. It is wrong to suggest he is in the absence of such evidence.

But suppose this man was someone known to Buttigieg, perhaps someone he had advised in the past -- a 'mentee'.

Well, so what? Buttigieg is not a mind reader. Unless there is evidence that Buttigieg knew that this man was distributing child pornography -- and not just that he had paedophile tendencies -- then this is a nothing-burger.
