Perhaps this British man would have liked a gun...to prevent his kidnapping and torture...

Well, even with their gun ban all that has changed in Britain is that criminals can commit crime with less risk and expense...they do not need to fear that a victim can fight back effectively, and instead of having to buy a gun...they simply stop by their kitchens to get a knife....

This man was kidnapped and tortured...one thing they did...and I have heard of this happening before in Britain, they put a hot iron on his stomach....

Is it right and fair to expect people to simply be victims....is it better that more people are beaten, raped and assaulted because they are not allowed guns to protect themselves...

True...the anti gunners will say..."But he lived...." But is that enough....to simply say, sure, they were raped, beaten, tortured....but they lived?

Ipswich Men involved in kidnap and torture case given jail terms totalling 42 years - News - Ipswich Star

The victim John Ugoani, of Cemetery Road, had boiling water and a hot iron put to his stomach.

The price of doing this was relatively low....the victim couldn't fight back, and the knife didn't cost much...so victimizing him was cost effective....at least they were caught....I wonder how many other times they had done this...or what other violent crimes they committed before they were caught for this.....

Would you give up your guns in trade for this type of crime to be more common, but gun murders to be less common?
