Pentagon deal sparks protest outside of OpenAI HQ in San Francisco

The military does not have to endure that veto. Which is why they terminated the contract. Not the first company to have that happen, and likely won't be the last.
You're still not engaging my point.

are you upset about the concept or are you upset about the concept emerging under who is in charge?
I'm not a Democrat or somebody that automatically has an issue with everything Trump does.

Is your lack of concern related to who is in charge? You might be right about the presence of bias. It's just not mine.

I am against universal surveillance of American citizens.

Your point is moot. Anthropic was not bargaining in good faith.

They have already replaced anthropic with OpenAI.
Do you agree with using AI for mass surveillance of Americans and also allowing it to autonomously decide to kill people?

Good. I support ending and crushing AI. I don't use it at work and actually thwart and mislead it.
AI is going to be part of life now. It's unavoidable. We need to careful though.

Why do
So you support Anthropic's position on the matter?
Why is that relevant when I already made it clear that the government should not be spying on private citizens. I’m indifferent to Anthropic.

I think this is an important issue that the public should have a clear stance on. Anthropic took a stand against this and is going to pay for it. They basically said no to money. They knew they would lose the contract and they did it anyway. Turning down power isn't normal. That's an anomaly that's worth paying attention to.
