The best HS football program in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has been obliterated over night with the firing of the entire football coaching staff. No motivation for the move has been announced by either the Administration or the coaches themselves.
It is suspected that the "Phil Donahue's" who dominate the school board have long wanted the school district to be noted for its academic prowess (which it is) but is now known as a football powerhouse, so they used the pretext of some long-ago "hazing" to justify destroying the football program.
Interestingly, the head coach is a HS teacher at a competing school.
It will be interesting to see how this story plays out and the real reasons behind this move come to light.
