Thanks for reminding me. Yes, that's right. The one show they pitched to kids about video gaming showed a clear icon of an erect dick with balls. No mistaking it for anything else. And that show was absolutely pitched to younger viewers. Lots of racy innuendo woven into it to for the type of "kid curiosity" show that it is. They've toned it down a bit since I complained actually. But with the other shows, they're back at it worse than before. "Paid Off's" Dicks over dictators was just a brazen step right into "**** you FCC" arena.

The issue isn't about ME seeing the content Skylar/mdk. It's about CHILDREN seeing the explicit content on prime time programming, meshed between other kid-curiosity shows with much tamer content at 4pm on a school day. Yeah, the list you were working off of....was a debunked conspiracy theory. Saul's actual rules for radicals didn't say a thing about 'growing the welfare state', 'increasing poverty levels' or 'increasing the debt to an unsustaintable level'. And if you didn't want children to see the content, you would have taken some personal responsibiity and used the V-chip in your TV to restrict their access to it. Or you would have reviewed the TV rating for the shows and acted approproiately. Or you would have heeded the giant 'WARNING' sign written across the screen. Or you would have heeded the warnings of 'graphic' content.

You did none of these things. YOU failed your grandchildren. You are responsible for them being exposed to what you object to.

Which is yet another reason that your latest 'FCC complaint' will result in the same thing as your last;

I already said in a previous post above. The content of Adam Ruins Everything AFTER my thread about it actually toned down quite a bit. Whether it was independent of exposure on social media is unknown. But the content has noticeably tamed down since then.

The fact is that these "educational type" (Adam Ruins Everything, Hack My Life, Paid Off) and "curiosity/magician type" kid-lure shows (Carbanero Effect) and overdone juvenile type slapstick situational comedy (Impractical Jokers) are the meat and mainstay of TruTV; All those shows are pitched to youth. And in many of them, the content and airing times (after school at prime time) are simply not compatible with FCC rules.

Claiming that it isn't so is not good enough when the pudding proves my point. Their air times and content can be observed by any employee of the FCC. So THEY, not YOU, Skylar/mdk will make the determination if the rules have been broken (they have).

You were provided a TV-14 rating. You ignored it.

You were provide with a giant WARNING sign in all caps and a 50 point font. You ignored it.

You were provided with a warning of 'graphic' content. You ignored it.

You were provided with an ON-OFF switch on your TV. You chose not to use it.

This isn't a failure of the FCC. You were provided with more than enough information to make a responsible choice. The failure is yours. And the FCC will not punish a TV network because you ignored the safeguards provided you.
