ABC News Rick Klein reports: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Friday said she stands by her contention that intelligence officials misled her about harsh interrogation techniques utilized by the Bush administration, but declined to elaborate on a spat that has drawn her growing political fire.
I have made the statement that Im going to make on this, Pelosi, D-Calif., said at a news conference today. I stand by my comment. And what we are doing is not being distracted from it.
Pressed further, she said, I wont have anything more to say about it.
