Obama claimed in his speech Thursday night that Abraham Lincoln was the founder of the Republican party.
Lincoln did not join the Republicans until 1856 two years after the party was founded. The first Republican convention was held in Ripon, Wisconsin in 1854.
On Drudge this morning it was reported that the transcript PBS provided had this sentence removed. Since then the sentence has been replaced.

I guess they ether intentionally omitted it or they forgot. Seems when liberals get caught doing something sneaky or underhanded they're just being sloppy.
