Perhaps the right wingers on this board can explain what the goal is?

Where do "jobs" fit in? Besides sending them to China? And what kind of unskilled jobs?

The right is doing more damage than al Qaeda ever could have imagined.

The "GOAL" is a return to Constitutionally Limited Government. The "GOAL" is to make Article I, Sections 8 & 9, and the Tenth Amendment meaningful portions of the US Constitution again. The "GOAL" is to return this country to a society where PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY means something, and where people don't look to the Government to fix all their problems and provide their wants, needs, or desires in life.

Sounds like one hell of a GOOD START to me.

read the "American Jobs Creation Act", it gave mega tax-breaks to move factories overseas. Couple that with low wages overseas, and we lost 14,000 factories. US manufacturing went from 28% of the economy to 12%.

There's only one way you're going to fix that issue.... Isolationism. Tell these companies that they're either American companies or their Foreign companies, and Foreign companies are not allowed to do business or sell their products in the United States... PERIOD.

Could you name the clause of the Constitution that authorizes any of those things?

Perhaps you could explain how you would balance the budget, unless you are seriously going to tell me that it's wise to or a necessity to spend trillions of dollars we don't have?

BTW rdean, glad to see you are alive.

How did the GOP ship jobs to China?
What poor are starving?

Poverty is rising
Poverty in the United States - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

You think this is only the GOP? NAFTA 1994 Free trade agreement with China 1999 The last year we ran a trade surplus was 1975. The road to our moving for a nation of producers to a nation of consumers is long and not the fault of one party.

Starving poor? Where are they? At the welfare office? Where they drove cars. Talk on cell phones and play video games, while they wait to see their worker, I've seen them. Many are over weight. They don't look like they are starving to me. Starving--social bullshit.

You see things as the fault of one party. If the GOP would just go away everything would be perfect. Both parties have turned the Federal government into a money eating monster.
All they care about is power. You and I have no power at the Federal level. At the state level the citizen has power. We have the power of recall and the power of direct legislation.
Only a socialist would oppose that.

The goal is to make nanny-statist fruitcakes like you screech like stuck pigs.

Looks like it's working.

Anytime anyone proposes something that limits government power and funding the Left yells like it's the end of the world. This is because they think people are sheep, incapable of doing anything for themselves without Big Daddy. Conservatives however have faith in the power of the individual to decide for himself what is best and act accordingly. In so doing he benefits others as well.

Then maybe you should shut the fuck up and go out and provide for your wants, needs, and desires, instead of complaining that it's the government's fault that you don't have them.

I agree completely with that statement. If Paul Ryan gets his way I predict that there will be a wave of violent push back as many cornered into desperation will take action against the thieves that have brought their level of destruction beyond recovery. There will be a civil war of sorts. I believe many will pay for their treachery with their lives. I don't think these ghouls have any idea what they are about to bring down on themselves.

I'm not talking about me personally because I am not in a position that will be affected by these Christian Fundamentalist fools. I see people every day that do not have it so good. I don't see them taking to starving and dying for lack of health care in the streets as many of you wish. Much of what will happen will just be random crime..some of it will be focused. Many will have nothing left to lose. This will not end well for many that just thought they were doing the right thing. Think Reginald Denny times 100,000...probably a lot more.

Exactly illustrating my point.
The liberals see people as threats to be controlled. Conservatives see people as assets to be liberated.

Hey Huggy, how many people did you count dying in the street today?

Good for you Mr. Ryan!:clap2:

Snake oil salesmen now have choirs of believers and corporations, aka persons, to feed their troughs. That anyone believes their nonsense is more a reflection on the lack of knowledge of the believer. Consider the failures of Coolidge/Hoover, Reagan/Bush, and Bush Jr and you have to wonder what they smoke. Losing in 08 has set forth the crazies. Money now controls the message.

"[W]hat is required is that Americans take a stand on behalf of their selfish material interests and against those of the monopolies and transnational corporations that have captured our institutions of government. The paradoxical character of our popular corruption is that the people have become slothfully selfless, too absorbed by their ephemeral entertainments and petty cultural disputes to assert their self-interest against the plunderers who rule them. ¶ Surely, however, the American people have not become so servile that they will forever submit to the rule of 1 percent. Surely we are capable of recognizing that the perverse corporate regime that has arisen in our country is a usurpation of popular government. Our Constitution unquestionably recognizes the right of a people to alter its mode of government: we have done so twenty-seven times. We may do so again. We may throw off these bonds and provide new guards for our future security." Roger D. Hodge

I provide all my own needs, gekaap. I don't look to the Government to provide for me. I have suggested that I'd be much better off if SOCIETY would straighten itself out, and that the Government would be an appropriate tool to do that, but that's a separate topic. I don't want anything in the way of financial support from the Government and never have. I've turned down Unemployment twice, COBRA once, and have it in my Living Will that I cannot accept any medical procedure or assistance paid for by the Government. I will be turning down Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security when the time comes.

I understand his philosophy, all but the Subsidies for already-doing-well corps. If he really feels we're going broke I'm not sure why he'd ask that the Citizens chip in for that.

During the debate concerning Obama's attempted overhaul of our Healthcar/Insurance system, many GOP members as well as their attack groups, try to scare the hell out of seniors by telling them that the overhaul would strip them of their MediCare benefits. Now, the GOP is advocating the complete elimination of MediCare. What has changed in less than a year and a half?

Slash education

We need to get the federal government out of the education business anyway.

slash the arts

Yes, no more Cowboy Poetry. WTF is the federal government doing in the arts anyway?
slash Medicare

slash Social Security

Changes have to be made. The longer we wait the more painful the changes will end up being.
Tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires
Horseshit. This is just Marxist talking points. Ryan's budget actually takes away loop-holes.

Tax breaks for companies

Subsidies for corporations

Oh, so you're against job creation? You'd rather tax the shit out of them causing them to pull up stakes and moving to India?

Break unions

Unions are out of control. They're telling the Democrats what to do, so it's time somebody put them in their place.

Ship jobs to China

It does the opposite.

End Abortions

Pure hyperbole. It doesn't make abortions illegal, it only defunds them.

Starve the poor
Why don't you say poisons babies and kills puppies while you're at it.

Deregulate Wall Street

Another silly Lib talking point.

Deregulate the EPA

The EPA is a regulatory entity. How do you deregulate the regulators?

Do you even know what you're talking about?

Shut down the government

Seems to me the assholes that neglected to produce a plan or even produce a budget are doing that. Obama and the Democrat controlled Senate are both several months late on submitting a budget. Blame them.

Your post is just a hodge-podge of lib talking-points, full of exaggerations and outright deceptions.

It's just a series of popular slogans that the Dems have been talking up for about 30 years. It shows that they didn't even take the time to read Ryan's budget. Regardless what he proposed they would have said the same exact thing.

my grndmother just died from a heart attack after just hearing the news that the dimocrats might shut down the government. her last word was "finally". she had a smile on her face. she would have been 108 !/2. thank you paul ryan.

Jim Jones would be proud the way these Christian Fundamentalists have glugged down Ryans Kool Aid. It seems there is nothing too insane for them to absorb.
