I understand that you love your country, but one has to be both blind and stupid not to see how Erdogan's toeing US line coupled with pan-Turkish ambitions is going to destroy Turkey.

Great rhetoric, but no one is stupid enough to start a war with Turkey.
Syria and Iraq have a combined nominal economic output less than 5 times of Turkey's economic output. It's like saying Croatia and Austria will destroy Germany.
There's an asymetrical power-balance. If there's war, it will be one we'll start and one that we want.

As for Iran:

Diplomats and intelligence officials told Reuters that Turkey and the UAE remain Iran's principal banking connections, while China and India are becoming areas of concern as Tehran now finds it difficult to conduct transactions in U.S. dollars and euros.

Due to banking sanctions Turkey has a monopoly on supplying Iran with steel because all other traders have removed from Iranian market.

What Turkey remove or put on whatever list is not changing the fact that current Turkish policies are leading the country into disaster.

1. When current Turkish political establishment took on board the idea of pan-Turkism and Turkey becoming a regional geopolitical power, it did not take into consideration the reality:

2. SA and Iran are not pleased at Turkish ambitions and straight away became opposed to Turkey;

3. Recent Turkish attempt to patch up relations with Armenia did not produce the desired result, but mightily upset relations with Azerbaijan;

4. Turkey going into military confrontation with Syria already led to upsetting economy of Turkish border regions that relied heavily on Syria; deepened confrontation with Iran (and Turkey gets its gas mainly from/through Iran); brought about hostilities with Iraq; put on line economic projects with Russia;

5. Cooled off relations with Georgia that is well aware of Turkish territorial appetites;

6. Inspired Kurds and Armenian communities within Turkey as well as in neighbouring countries to renew their activities;

thus jeopardising Turkish economy and territorial integrity.

A director of Turkish ORSAM (Centre for Middle Eastern Strategic Studies) Hasan Kanbolat wrote an article where he outlined 6 main points of current ME conflict:

"... We must see that there is game within a game going on. It seems that the situation in Syria as it is now has been built on the weakening of the regional powers.

First, there are attempts to dissipate the threat posed by Syria, which represents a challenge to Israeli security. These attempts will continue until the total collapse of Syrian infrastructure. In other words, there are strong lobbies seeking to ensure that relevant parts of the agricultural, industrial, educational and health sectors in Syria are destroyed. In order to achieve this, some would like to ensure that the war continues, and in accordance with this plan, a low-intensity environment of conflict in Syria is desirable, even if opposition forces come to power in the country.

Second, there are attempts to ignite a war between Syria and Turkey, through which the improvements in the bilateral relations between the two nations would be undermined. The Justice and Development Party (AK Party) has been working to improve these ties over the past decade.

Third, in addition to being engaged in conflict with Syria, Turkey would be alienated from the international community and could experience economic repercussions from such a step. The AK Party government could collapse due to these problems. In this way, Turkey’s economic and political landscape would be redesigned.

Fourth, this is also a way to focus the attention of both Turkey and the Russian Federation -- the largest and greatest powers in the region -- on this problem so that they are unable to deal with other global problems.

Fifth, the lobbies also seek to ensure deterioration in the bilateral relations between Turkey and Russia, which have been bolstered over the last couple of years, beyond the point of repair.

Sixth, with chaos reigning in Syria and Turkey, the Kurds in those countries would gain de facto autonomy in their respective regions, as in northern Iraq..."
