Bradley Bondi, Attorney General Pam Bondi's brother, and Alicia Long, who was a deputy to brief interim U.S. Attorney Ed Martin, tried to seize control. After a vote, Bondi couldn't cross 10% support among the membership.

As NPR reported in May, the race garnered a lot of attention, resulting in the highest vote among its membership ever. The next largest election was in 1990 and saw less than one-third of the participation.

Looks like all of these special elections happening every where are only getting worse for Tacoville.

Butthead Beltway

What do you expect from a coven of Lefty lawyers? Your GOTCHAs need to cha-cha down the road. As long as your chain-dance stops at DC limits, it won't draw rocks.

This is the same DC bar that stripped Hunter of his license to practice law.

Seems Dembots are doing all they can to distance themselves from that Admin.

They didn't get control of a Lawyers Club in DC? Oh, my... the sky is falling... :auiqs.jpg:

Must be a few-too-many Democrats still sitting in that Club... give it a year or two... that may change...

A lefty won in DC? Oh, what a surprise.

Care to explain all of those elections you are losing in red districts agent Taco won?
There could be reasons. Turnout is one of them. It is better for republicans to have a higher turnout and notoriously in special elections there can be surprises. We have a lot of social programs. We need real growth. We do not need anyone hindering potential growth. Progs do this. Considering there is a reduction in government employment a temporary jobs report with a lower percentage has to work its way through. I still think Democrats have done some good things over the years. They are lost at the moment. People will not accept the inflation we saw under the last administration. And there is still work to do with current prices for anything we do.

LOL...you actually think that it's telling that a conservative candidate lost an election in the most liberal district in the entire freaking country? Are you THAT desperate for something positive, Skews?

Fyi

The voters were only members if the D.C. Bar....

Both repubs and democratic bar members voted, which is not as leaning democratic as the City itself
