one hint should be the term "west germany", another the term "1991 gulf war", and then the fact that your first source was from 1990.

Actually that brings to mind how outraged the left was that Glen Beck and the Tea Party had the temerity to have a gathering at the Lincoln Memorial on MLK day.. remember that?
