No matter what that territory has been called or is called now, the name is NOT the key to any of the issues.

It was #Palestine , it still is Palestine, and will always be Palestine, even if they changed its name! And that's coming from a Jewish Israeli American @mikopeled

The issue is about sovereignty - that set of conditions that establishes political dominion, self-government, and national authority that separates the nation and the territorial integrity from any external power.

The term Palestine has not been used in a millennium (+) to describe a people that have exercised self-government (
it makes no difference why). And fault or control by some different political/governmental institution cannot be used to challenge why the actual "reality" that Arabs of the territory of Palestine formerly under the Mandate have not maintained political dominion, self-government, and national authority of any segment of the territory west of the Jordan River.

Most Respectfully,

Indeed, Israel has no defined territory. It has never acquired any territory. It sits on unceded Palestinian territory

Good news. When this conflict is over Israel will have a very "defined territory."

But the conflict is not over. Israel has won nothing yet.
Actually nobody or no country wins a war. Both sides grieve & count their dead & wounded. Winning comes from the aftermath of what has changed for who. With that, Israel shall prevail.
