Well, the outcome will probably not be based on the ground truth. It will be a political decision set that is shrouded in reinterpretations of the events (post-1948) and the clouded legal interpretations that really have little true value in reality. If the outcome is as simple as the Arab Palestinians claim, then the Political/Military conflict would have been resolved before the turn of the century.

There are conflicting truths. The two most reoccurring arguments are:

◈ Whether the entity called Palestine was a true State by the 1939 Montevideo Convention.
◈ And then the arguments that orbit the question of "annexation."
◈ And then the truly big argument is the question of the application of the allegation of "Apartheid."

Territories of a similar nature is that of Taiwan [(is it the Republic of China (ROC) or the People's Republic of China (PRC)]? China is not going to drop its claim to Taiwan. But the question of self-determination is still up in the air.

There is the question of Crimea. Occupied by Russia since 2014, it the conquest going to stand. What sovereignty is Crimea? What will happen if the PRC is allowed to take back the ROC?

What will happen to the actual application of the truth on the ground in the Middle East? Who will make these decisions?

As of this moment, I don't see Israel as giving the Ramallah Government (if you can call it that) one square centimeter of ground. And it will be questionable if the Administrators will give the Palestinians a reserved parking space anywhere on the Government Campus.

I would like to call your attention to the activities of the Special Committee on Decolonization (C-24).

C-24 mandate

In accordance with GA resolution 1654 (XVI), the C-24 was mandated to (i) examine the application of the Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples (GA resolution 1514 (XV) of 14 December 1960, hereafter referred to as the "Declaration") and (ii) to make suggestions and recommendations on the progress and extent of the implementation of the Declaration. The C-24 commenced its work in 1962.
The C-24 annually reviews the list of Non-Self-Governing Territories to which the Declaration is applicable. It also hears statements from representatives of the Non-Self-Governing Territories at its annual sessions, dispatches visiting missions to Non-Self-Governing Territories and annually organizes regional seminars.
.
I would also like to call your attention to the 2021 session of the C-24 listings. You will notice that "The Question of Palestine" is NOT mentioned in any way shape of form. You might ask: Why is that? Because the Territories Occupied since 1967 are NOT under Colonial Rule. They are formerly The Territories once Under Jordanian Rule (TUJR).

I have noticed in the past, that many anti-Israelis and pro-Palestinians have alleged that the 130 - 140 Israeli Settlements in the West Bank fall under the Area "C" Special Provisions.

Lastly it might be interesting to note that the UN Map that points out the Non-Self-Governing Territories (NSGT) shows something interesting. Or maybe I should say it does not show anything interesting in the Middle East. In fact, there are no NSGTs anywhere in the Middle East.

Nothing in the Middle East fall under scrutiny as a territory of interest to the C-24 was mandated to (i) examine the application of the Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples (GA resolution 1514 (XV) of 14 December 1960.

You have brought this allegation up before, but I see no evidence at al that your might be applying the Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples correctly.

It might interest you to note that there are only 4 (maybe 5) Colonial Powers left in the world. But Israel is not one of them.

Later on it was determined that Israel was a settler colonial project. (UN resolution)

3. Reaffirms the inalienable right of the peoples of Namibia, of the Palestinian people and of all peoples under alien and colonial domination to self-determination, national independence, territorial integrity, national unity and sovereignty without external interference;

The United Nations Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, Francesca Albanese, has submitted her much-anticipated report to the UN General Assembly, concluding that the realization of the inalienable right of the Palestinian people to self-determination requires dismantling Israeli settler-colonialism and apartheid regime.

The United Nations Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in the Occupied Palestinian Territories
(COMMENT)

The "Special Rapporteur" (AKA: "Independent Expert") is no substitute for any Judicial Body or a formal appointment as a Legal Affairs Advisor. They cannot make edicts. They. The Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian Territory occupied since 1967 • surveying the overall situtionand makes recommendations for the purpose of ... encouraging the progressive development of international law pertaining to the specific mandate." The Special Rapporteur is not interested in whether or not the recommendations made will expand the conflict, or are even possible to put into effect and still improves regional peace and security.
Nor does the Special Rapporteur concern themselves with the intent and mandate of the Allied Powers of over a century ago, and is certainly not considering the decisions from the middle of the last century as to the necessity to establish a Jewish State and safeguarding the Jewish people within a safe haven from those that would destroy the Jewish Culture as it continues to evolve.

A/RES/35/35 - Right of Peoples to Self-Determination - is a compilation of the same allegations, complaints, dissatisfactions, and expressions of resentment made 20 years before Jordan cut all ties with the West Bank. It is just one of a number of cutches that try to lend legitimacy to a campaign of hostility, and the assymetric efforts of an entire segment of a generationally perpetuated, welfare culture that has no intention of forging a lasting regional peace. It is a culture that has made no significant contribution to humanity. The Hostile Arab Palestinians latch onto these slogans like colonialism and apartheid, to gain sympathy on the world stage that will assist in the collection of donor contributions that will allow the shambles of a fake government to continue indefinitely but with no real capacity for progress. It has been a decade since the Resolution that suggested there is a recognition of the State of Palestine. And in that time, the Arab Palestinian people have not advanced one inch towards peace.

Nice word salad.

Israel was founded on settler colonialism. It is well documented.

While the rest of the world looks at "intent" when the world hears the word "colonialism," others, who have an agenda and a political/propaganda need, look at a more sinister or diabolical meaning.

Like many anti-Israeli and pro-Palestinians - they have a very important need to look back to in time (the late 1800s and early 1900s) and cherry-pick a few phases that use the word "colony" and try their hardest to attach some connotation that fits their agenda of diminishing the basis and recognition of Israel so that they may establish a failed-state umbrella over the territory.

In the late 1800s and early 1900s, when the Jewish people began their migration to the territory under the Mandate called Palestine, the Jews thought of themselves as pioneers. The move was so families could carve out a new life for themselves. They did not think of themselves as a population of a dependent nature, a political extension of a distant nation. They thought of themselves as like-minded family units with picks and shovels - hammers and nails that were going to build something prosperous where there was nothing before.

In contemporary times, no enlightened observer can look at the Arab Palestinians, who have made very little progress and virtually no contribution regionally or worldwide, and expect to see them work to build a better nation. What they probably will see is the constant complaining by the Arab Palestinian that the cause of all Palestinian Ills can be placed at the feet of Israel.

"Colonial Wars"? You need some more Super Foods. In the last quarter of a century, the Arab Palestinians have done more to damage their own infrastructure, quality of life, economic strength, and political structure than anything else. When political corruption took over in the Ramallah and the Gaza government functionality the demise of the capacity for positive growth brings the territories crashing. The average income is almost a factor of ten ($49.2K IL to $4.2K PAL). The Palestinians could start on the road to recovery, but only if they want. And that is a big "if."

The Zionists always wanted to colonize all of Palestine and still do.
