Palestine Protester Tries To Argue With Skinhead But They Just Agree On Everything

DALLAS, TX — A tense situation was avoided today, as a Leftist pro-Palestine protestor attempted to get into an argument with a Skinhead but found they really are on the same page about pretty much everything.
"Wait, what? You hate the Jews too?" asked Chuck Peaslee, a college student and Palestine liberation warrior. "I wanted to punch a Nazi today, but you're making it pretty difficult right now, bro."
The skinhead, a representative from a local chapter of the Aryan Knights of Odin's Revenge had just finished explaining to Peaslee that his group also seeks the annihilation of the Jewish people. "Right on, man!" the Skinhead said. "The nation of Israel has no right to exist and should be wiped off the face of the earth! High five!"
"Totally!" replied Peaslee as the two men bonded around their shared hatred. "You know who else I hate? Christians!"
"Yeah! They're a bunch of Zionist cucks!" the Skinhead answered. "We should wipe out all the Christians too."
"Absolutely!" Peaslee said. "Jews and Christians are behind everything that's wrong with the world. Everything would be better if we got rid of them all."
"Way better!" the Skinhead said. "Wait a minute, do you think pineapple belongs on pizza?"
"Yes!" Peaslee yelled. "Wow, we really do agree on everything. It's like we're kindred spirits. Hey, when the protest is over, you want to go get something to eat?"
"Sure," the Skinhead said. "As long as it's not Whataburger."
"Agh, Whataburger is the worst!" Peaslee said. "Another thing we agree on!"
At publishing time, Peaslee and the Skinhead had clearly struck up what seemed to be the beginning of a lifelong bond based on their shared worldview.

Although sharply cognisant of the attendant risks, few in the Israeli mainstream believe they have much choice given the terrible events of Oct 7.

Yet national unity is being delivered through gritted teeth. Recent polling shows a significant majority of Israelis blame Mr Netanyahu not just for the military and intelligence failures that allowed the attack but for “propping up” the terrorist group in the first place.

“For years, the various governments led by Benjamin Netanyahu took an approach that divided power between the Gaza Strip and the West Bank – bringing Palestinian Authority president Mahmoud Abbas to his knees while making moves that propped up the Hamas terror group”, wrote political correspondent Tal Schneider in the Times of Israel last week. “The idea was to prevent Abbas – or anyone else in the Palestinian Authority’s West Bank government – from advancing toward the establishment of a Palestinian state”.

Dmitry Shumsky, a columnist for Haaretz, took a similar line, arguing that Mr Netanyahu had pursued a policy of “diplomatic paralysis” in order to avoid negotiations with the Palestinians over a two-state solution – a solution despised by the country’s extreme Right. This flawed strategy turned Hamas from “a minor terrorist group into an efficient, lethal army with bloodthirsty killers who mercilessly slaughtered innocent Israeli civilians”, said Mr Shumsky.
