Outrage over Israeli soldier's vandalism of Jesus statue in Lebanon

Do you think it was revenge for 2,000 years of Jewish suffering at the hands of Catholics? By the way, your interpretation of history is very simplistic, very black‑and‑white. In reality, the relationships were much more complex.
ps
I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a šŸ‡·šŸ‡ŗ Kremlin provocation — they have carried out similar religious provocations many, many times before
Please tell us what ā€œ motiveā€ there was for revenge The Kremlin has nothing to do with it

Even beside that.

Does the pope care more a bout a f$@n statue,
than Christians getting massacred by the thousands?
You suck at PR crisis handling — learn from Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar.

U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee said on X that "Swift, severe, & public consequences are needed."
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar said the soldier's actions were disgraceful and shameful. "We apologize for this incident and to every Christian whose feelings were hurt," Saar said on X.
The Israeli military said the incident was being investigated.
"The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) views the incident with great severity and emphasises that the soldier's conduct is wholly inconsistent with the values expected of its troops," the military said. "The IDF is working to assist the community in restoring the statue to its place."

ps I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a šŸ‡·šŸ‡ŗKremlin (FSB) provocation — šŸ‡·šŸ‡ŗthey have carried out similar religious provocations many, many times before

Agree! The Statue should be the last thing they should be concerned about
Nobody's concerned about the statue, they are appalled at the eagerness of Zionist Jews to destroy things that carry Christian meaning, its isn't the statue it's the desire to destroy that people are apalled at.

OK I've seen it all now, a Christian defending the persecution of Christians.

Oh boy, that's Bibical level deception right there, wow.
How am I defending the persecution of Christian’s?

Christians have done and tried to destroy the Jewish people including things that have Jewish meaning

Some Christians have, I agree, but how does that mean Zionist Jews are right to persecute Christians?

If religious persecution is wrong, then its wrong, yes or no?

What double standard? Thats nuts. Your whataboutism is crap.
The double standards is that OP makes more of a fuss over ONE Jew crashing a statue than he does over hundreds of Nigeria Muslims murdering thousands of Christians.

And pointing out the double standards is not whataboutism. It’s one of the three big tells of antisemitism.

Placating a tortured Jew fits well into this equation...

Personally, I think Christians breaking into a Jewish household, scaring the 13-year-old girl there home alone, blowing the Shabbos candles out (can you imagine?!), and cursing Judaism to the girl’s face is a LOT worse than what the IDF soldier did to the statue.

Why are you people defending vandalism?

Not defending it, per se, but more so ''how dare you for 'noticing' when Israel does it.''

''Look at everyone else instead'' kind of of deal ''and if you don't, then you're an antisemite for noticing when we do it''

You should know the gambit by now.

And this is the second or third thread on it, btw...

You are still defending religious vandalism.

The majority of Christian’s would just shrug or think it’s OK Talk about destroying people of a certain religion? Let’s talk about the Violence, deaths, being forced out of their Birth Countries, not getting a Job because you’re Jewish? That’s a lot worse

By complaining about those of us who are condemning what the soldier is doing.
I’m not complaining. Don’t compare that to how the hate , Venom and Violence the Christian people have had for the the last 2,000 years
